Jadet Meelarp was appointed as coach of struggling Thai League 1 side Port yesterday, the club announced.
It is Jadet’s fourth stint as coach of the club.
Port were contenders for the Thai League 1 champions at the end of last year.
But they have gone downhill since the 2021-22 season resumed last month and were also eliminated in the FA Cup and the League Cup.
Two weeks ago, Sarawut Treephan quit as coach.
Interim coach Weerayut Binabdullohman’s spell lasted only one game — Port’s embarrassing 2-0 home loss to relegation contenders Samut Prakan.
The club said Jadet was brought back because the team have to play in an AFC Champions League play-off match against South Korea’s Ulsan Hyundai on March 15.
