Is the required 90 day report date based on the date you entered or the date you extended? Please read the text of the post before responding as I’m quoting a line from immigration’s website that suggests its the 2nd date…

I’m getting ready to do my first ever 90 day report. I’m reviewing the information at https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=1666 and noticed a section (#5) that reads: **”The first application for extension of stay by the foreigner is equivalent to the notification of staying in the Kingdom over 90 days.”**

So if I entered on Mar 15 with a 45 day visa-exempt, and then extended it on Apr 28 for 30 more days (I then later transitioned to a long stay visa), does my 90 day counting start at Apr 28 based on the section quoted above? Everything else I’ve read says it is only based on when you enter or do your last 90 day report so I want to make sure I understand so as to avoid an extra trip out to immigration (I’m in Bangkok).

And yes I know you can do these online after you do your first, but I haven’t done my first yet — unless my extension counts as my first? (as quoted above) In which case I *have* done my first? …and can do them online from now on?
