Is it normal for a 5-star hotel in Bangkok not to have a bum gun?

I’ve been recently staying at a hotel called **** (which is part of Accor chain, name removed as a courtesy to the hotel) and noticed that there is no toilet spray in the room. I called the reception and they said that the rooms don’t have this ammenity.

I am in shock.

Is this normal?
