IndiGo, a prominent Indian carrier, announces an expansion of flight services to Thailand, with a notable 25 per cent increase in weekly flights. Commencing January 5, 2024, IndiGo will introduce additional flights between Mumbai and Phuket, followed by the resumption of operations between Bengaluru and Phuket starting February 28, 2024.
The new flights will contribute to enhanced connectivity between India and Thailand, operating six days a week to Phuket from both Mumbai and Bengaluru. This strategic expansion aligns with the growing travel demands during the year-end holidays.
