An Indian man was arrested by Pattaya Immigration on Thursday, March 7th, after being accused of stealing 100,000 baht and a tablet from his employer. The suspect reportedly admitted that he had already spent all the money on self-entertainment.
According to reports, the suspect, Mr. Palliparambil (family name withheld), was accused by his former employer, Mr. Dawood Saudhi, the owner of the Delm Mar apartment, of stealing the mentioned items.
The employer filed a police report against Mr. Palliparambil on January 18th, leading to his arrest on March 7th. Mr. Palliparambil had reportedly worked for Mr. Dawood at his apartment when the incident took place.
Pattaya Immigration found the suspect residing in an apartment in South Pattaya. A team led by Pol Lt Col Kawinawat Arayasuriwong, Deputy Chief of Chonburi Immigration, apprehended Mr. Palliparambil as he was leaving the building. The suspect was informed of the allegations and taken to his apartment room where documents related to the case were found.
According to the suspect’s statements, he already spent all the money on entertainment. After gathering evidence, the suspect was handed over to Pattaya Police Station for further legal proceedings. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=–=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
