Indian family of slain gangster due in Phuket

PHUKET: The family of the Indian gangster murdered by hitmen will arrive in the next few days to take his body back to India, national police chief Suwat Jangyodsuk said on Friday.

Pol Gen Suwat said relatives of Jimi “Slice” Sandhu had advised the Royal Thai Police Office they would travel to Phuket either on Sunday or Monday to collect his body. 

Sandhu was shot multiple times by two gunmen in a parking area near his rented beachfront villa on Rawai Beach in Muang district on Feb 11. His body is in the Vachira Phuket Hospital morgue.
