Songkran officially begins this week in Pattaya and crowds of people from Thailand and around the world are ready to celebrate and party!
It has been four long years, since 2019, when Songkran took place in Pattaya and allowed waterfights, concerts, festivals, parties, and parades. Although the holiday took place in 2022, it was toned down to only religious and traditional events due to concerns around Covid-19.
With those concerns largely in the past, the gates are open and water has begun already as of this article in some parts of Pattaya and will continue this week and until April 19th next week!
