My academic supervisor recommended asking here for activities to do in Bangkok. I am a grad student from Hawaii who was sent to Thailand about 6 months ago to help with medical research. It’s so different from the small towns I grew up in. I’m not sure what to do! I like costume/fashion design, hiking, sculpture, narrative, philosophy, and physics. I’ve made friends with people in my program, but I want to make more friends and do things that are fun, meaningful, and give me a greater appreciation for the place I am in.
