Ikhsan equaliser earns Singapore first leg draw with Indonesia

SINGAPORE: Ikhsan Fandi scored 20 minutes from time to leave Singapore’s Suzuki Cup semi-final with Indonesia finely poised as the nations shared a 1-1 draw in their first leg of their meeting in the Southeast Asian championship on Wednesday.

Ikhsan strode into the penalty area to latch onto Faris Ramli’s through ball before slotting past Nadeo Argawinata at the Singapore National Stadium to earn the hosts a draw ahead of Saturday’s second leg.
