Ideal Area?

We are considering retiring in Chiang Mai later this year. We are in our 60’s and enjoy walking everywhere and would only like to use a scooter occaisionally. We will want to live in a nice, secure condo or apartment. We enjoy long walks on trails or walking paths that don’t involve walking on the street so much so we can listen to podcasts without constantly looking around to avoid motorcycles and cars. Maybe a big park with off street walking? A good gym with a large selection of equipment is a must for us. We won’t want to be so far out that we have to hop on the scooter to go to night markets and shopping and such.

Does such an area exist in Chiang Mai?
