ICONSIAM raises safety standards to the highest level in preparation for the Amazing Thailand Countdown 2024, boosting confidence in all aspects

ICONSIAM, in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Royal Thai Police, and the Royal Thai Navy, as well as various government agencies in the area, such as the Marine Department, Khlong San District Office, Metro Police 8 Khlong San Police Station, Pak Khlong San Fire Station Water Police Division, and related staff, convened on December 30, 2023, to finalise a detailed security plan. The teams conducted drills to ensure a shared understanding of their collaborative operations, with the aim of maintaining heightened security at all points and increasing staffing to the maximum level for rigorous safety enforcement.
In addition, ICONSIAM has established personnel inspection points and luggage checks at the entrance gates, incorporating both scanning and portable metal detectors. In a collaborative effort with various government agencies, a dedicated command center has been established. This includes the integration of K-9 police dog units, inspection officers, and specialised personnel, facilitating convenience for visitors and ensuring maximum safety. All these measures are intended to enhance confidence in every aspect for both citizens and tourists attending the Amazing Thailand Countdown 2024 event at River Park, ICONSIAM, and the surrounding areas.
