I replaced my lost drivers license today and thought I’d share the process with others who may be wondering what to do.
My license was valid from 2013-2023.
1) I arrived just when they opened at 8:30 so I only had to wait 2 mins for my queue. Lady at counter checked my passport then asked me to photocopy a couple of pages .
2) she then give me some papers to go upstairs, and once upstairs I got another queue. The wait was less than 10 minutes.
3) I was asked to sign a few things, pay 105baht, take a picture and was done a few minutes later.
My new license now has an expiration date of November 2024 instead of the original 2023. Not sure it that is normal or luck?
TLDR: to replace a lost license just go when the office opens at 8:30am with your passport.
