I ate this soy milk cheesecake 2 months ago. I’m still thinking about it.

Can’t say no to good soy, I say. 

Two months after I went to a random Japanese restaurant in Silom, I cannot stop thinking of one item it served: Tonyu Cheesecake, or Soy Milk Cheesecake.

While most of the savory dishes at the Suikin Japanese Restaurant did not meet my expectations – not so tasty and relatively pricey – I discovered satisfaction in the last thing ordered. 

Coming on a small plate perfect for one (if you are not willing to share), the first bite will take you straight to heaven. I admit, I suck with words when it comes to describing food, so bear with me here: It was melt-in-the-mouth soft, light and sweet, but not too sweet. It’s the fragrance of soy exploding in your mouth. And next thing you know, you say, “Mmm-mmm. I. Want. More.”
