Huawei Technologies Thailand has vowed to continue investing in the country by driving 5G implementation, pushing for cloud adoption, accelerating the low-carbon transition, and cultivating digital talents as part of its business strategy this year.
“We will keep investing in Thailand to continue the country’s digital journey in 2022,” Abel Deng, chief executive of Huawei Technologies Thailand, said at a virtual conference.
He said the company will keep expanding Thailand’s 5G adoption to pursue economic value.
Huawei wants to see the 5G penetration rate double to 20% from the current 10%.
