Hua Hin to Bangkok with 2 cats?

I need to go to Bangkok for a couple of days and want to take my cats. I have been looking into transportation options and have only found a fan-only crappy train that leaves around 2pm and will arrive around 7pm or later if it gets delayed, or a 2,400 baht taxi.

Is there a better option? The taxi is too expensive and the train will arrive too late and I’m not a fan of no aircon for 4-5 hours. Animals are not allowed on the nice, faster train unfortunately, I went to the train station to ask.
