I have read many tales of landlords keeping the month deposit at the end of a tenancy, effectively making a 3-month stay cost four months rent.
I don’t wish to blindside a landlord and just avoid paying the final month’s rent, so is there any way to negotiate a deposit-less contract?
I know airbnb is an option, but seems like there are fewer options, and the overall cost is higher.
