Hey all – I (24F) am headed to Chiang Mai currently and planning to spend 5-6 days elsewhere in Thailand in a beach destination. I’m deciding between Koh Samui and surrounding islands and Phuket and surrounding islands.
My flight back to the U.S. is from Phuket (booked before realizing it was rainy season). Koh Samui and Phuket both project a ton of rain over the next two weeks so I’m trying to decide if it’s worth going to Koh Samui or if I should head straight to Phuket given logistical simplicity.
Is it possible to get to Phi Phi now or is rain preventing? Any thoughts on hotels to stay in?
