I just moved to Bangkok and I have found a condo at Hi Sukhumvit. I found it through Facebook group. The agent is not connected to any realty company. She is an independent agent. She showed me today’s 2 condos but there were 2 other agents involved. They said if I want to move in tomorrow I have to pay for the 1st month rent first then upon paying they will provide me the contract then I pay the remaining 2 months deposit. They said I can send payment through the bank of the owner. They gave me the “owner”s bank details. Do you think this is legitimate? What red flags do I have to look for?
