Hi.
I am a 24 year old male who is of half-thai origin. I am graduating my master’s degree in November, and I figured that I would reward myself by traveling to Thailand and staying there for 3-4 months. The purpose of my trip is to reconnect with my roots and hopefully learn how to speak Thai more fluently. I haven’t been to Thailand since I was 15, and I barely know anyone there except my relatives.
I have not had any luck in finding online communities where you can personally interact with people with people living in Thailand. I guess what I’m looking for is a way to create friendships so that I don’t run the risk of loneliness when I am there. I’ve never travelled by somewhere by myself before, so I really don’t know what to expect. Do you guys know any communities or platforms where I can create friendships with people in Thailand?
