i land in bangkok on the 18th and planned to get a sleeper train up to chiang mai on the 21st, spend a few days there then go to pai. however i have discovered that chinese new year celebrations will be happening in chiang mai during that time. Will it be extremely busy to the point where it’s worth visiting later ?
