Nurul Sriyankem, centre, scores the winner against Chiang Rai in Thai League 1. PR
Fresh from beating champions Chiang Rai United in Thai League 1 at the weekend, Port are hoping to march on in their defence of the FA Cup title when they host Buriram United in the last 16 today.
Port came from behind to seal a thrilling 2-1 win at Chiang Rai on Sunday with Nurul Sriyankem scoring the winner in injury time.
However, second-placed Port are seven points behind Thai League 1 leaders BG Pathum United and winning the FA Cup may be a more realistic target.
“We hope to continue our fine performance,” Port coach Sarawut Treephan said.
