Firstly I live in the Jomtien area of Pattaya and it used to be really nice. Over the years there have been a surge of expats (not necessarily Russians) relocating to my area. Now I’ve noticed the foreigners having become increasingly nasty, rude and sometimes violent. I’ll give a couple examples.
I was coming back from shopping today and at the soi intersection I let a man on a bicycle pass me then I turned on the soi after him. As I was pulling up behind him he turned his head and spat at me. Another man who lives near me loves walking smack in the middle of the road and never ever moves for vehicles. A couple times I’ve seen him he’s tried to hit me when I went around him. Those are a couple examples that I can think of off the top of my head but there have been other instances.
Does anyone know what the heck is going on with people these days? I’m really stumped. Is it just my area or elsewhere too?
