Honouring a legend

It’s that time of year again, and Kanchanaburi’s River Khwai Bridge Week is back, starting this Friday and continuing until Dec 6.

Taking place simultaneously with the province’s Red Cross Fair at the iconic World War II bridge itself and surrounding areas, this grand annual event is now in its 40th year. At the festival, apart from exhibitions on related history, you will also find a wide variety of fun features, from nightly concerts by famous artists including Carabao (Dec 5) and other stage performances to over 400 booths selling handicrafts and yummy food from Kanchanaburi and other parts of the country.
