Home tour: A minimalist home with European charm in Dubai

For the private quarters upstairs, The Niche Corner team decided to break down one of the larger bathrooms into two smaller ones, creating two separate ensuites for two of the guest bedrooms. “Figuring out how to make it work was a bit tricky. But it eventually just clicked, and I feel it helps utilise the space much better.”

Softer elements and textures are also introduced in the bedroom spaces to elicit a comforting aura. “Given the minimal nature of this home, we went heavy on fabrics, weaving in linens, tweeds and light cotton,” opines Nouman. “There is texture even on the kitchen hood and the TV unit.”

The overall flooring of the home is composed of large, soft matte greige tiles that help keep a soft touch.
