I’m interested to know if exchanging your own condo in thailand is legal, especially for a foreigner.
Those exchanges can be:
1. directly your home in exchange with another home (same period or another period), or
2. your home in exchange of points then you can use your points to exchange later with a home
No money will be exchanged, visitor will not pay for anything like cleaning.
Unused points can’t be redeemed to real money.
The owner (not me) will live for real in this condo, 3 to 5 months a year, with a tourist visa.
Foreign quota, no yellow book yet.
I’m living in Thailand so i know there is 99.9% chances that nothing happen, skip also replies like “you can pay someone to fix problems in thailand”.
Feel free to share your knowledge, especially if you asked a lawyer, but any guesses are also welcome.
