Here’s how the domestic travel situation in Thailand looks right now

Most of Thailand is under full lockdown right now due to the worrisome COVID-19 situation. Along with restrictions in high-risk areas, such as a dine-in ban and a night curfew, the government has imposed regulations on domestic travel to contain the spread of the virus.

Because of these regulations, many transport services have been temporarily suspended. Air travel within the country has become highly limited, with many airlines canceling certain routes throughout the month of August, while bus and train services are running on selected routes.

Planning a trip within Thailand is complicated right now, but not entirely impossible.  We’ve rounded up the current operations of each mode of transport.
