Help Me Pick a Resort/Hotel in Phuket

Hi everyone. My boyfriend and I are taking a two-week trip to Thailand at the end of January, ending with 5-6 nights in Phuket. We are not really nightlife people at all (it would be nice to be a quick 10-15 min drive to some nightlife – but not crazy important.)

It is very important that we are able to swim in the beach (clean beach ideally), snorkel, paddleboard/kayak. From my research, it seems like the beaches we want to be near are Kata/Kata Noi/Karon? **Is this correct?**

If so, **what are your recommendations** for resorts in that area? Has anyone heard anything about the Sawasdee Village Resort in Karon or the Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort and Spa. Any other places I should check out?

Our budget is maximum 220 USD per night but ideally 170-200. We are hoping for a place with a great breakfast buffet (ideally), easy ability to walk a quick distance or shuttle to the beach, and a nice resort pool.

Lastly, are any of these locations within Phuket a good place to be to take a day trip to Koh Phi Phi and nearby caves and islands? Thank you so much for your help!!
