Headed over the Chiang Mai at the end of the week. Should I get a data-only SIM card at the airport?

Ideally, I want to get a data only SIM card at the airport so that I can just insert it into my phone and use it hassle free. Is there such a thing at Chiang Mai airport? or do I need to get it all sorted out before I come here? Flying in from Singapore.

Also, regarding transport, do I need to download the Thailand version of Grab? or do you guys use other ride-hailing apps?
