Has anyone studied a masters/phd at CMU?

Hello everyone,

I am an international student and have recently been offered to study a PhD at CMU and have been told that there is a scholarship called Presidential Scholarship. I have seen that the amount is not excessively high (I attach details below) I wonder if it is enough to live in Chiang Mai, even if it is not in the center.

Thank you very much

Life, Accident and Health Insurance: THB 3,000 per year.

Books and Stationery: in lump sum THB 3,000 per semester.

Living Allowance (Food, Accommodation, Local Travelling): THB 12,000 per month while staying in Thailand.

Settlement Allowance: THB 6,000 on arrival

Thesis Publication Allowance: in lump sum THB 6,000 (once when the manuscript has been accepted to publish).
