Has anyone moved from Bangkok due to pollution (PM2.5)? If yes, where?

Living in a country with mostly great weather all year round but not being able to enjoy it because of pollution makes me wonder if it’s still the right place to live.

Yes, I know that Bangkok has never been a countryside village in the alps but still… Restricting outdoor activities and living with air purifiers + N95 masks definitely has a negative impact on (my) quality of life.

So has anyone recently moved from Bangkok? Did you want to move anyways and the PM-levels were just the icing on the cake or have you moved exclusively because of the bad air?
