GrabCar Saver vs GrabCar and general unreliability increasing

I believe one difference is that GrabCar Saver has smaller cars, but I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that there is a difference also in that with regular GrabCar the drivers don’t know your destination until they pick you up (therefore compensation is the higher rate) whereas GrabCar Saver they know your destination in advance and can choose whether to accept or not. Is that correct? Do you find you get a good driver more easily with one or the other?

Also, with JustGrab I believe you can end up with either a regular car or a taxi. If you end up with a Taxi is the fare still a fixed fare and billed via the app?

As more of an observation I’ve been using Grab fairly heavily for the last few months (mainly in Chiang Mai) and generally the drivers are very good but recently I’ve found more cases of the driver cancelling, or when picking up asking if they can cancel and get paid cash instead. Also had a couple of cases of a driver accepting and being completely non-responsive….not moving and not answering messages. Curious if anyone else has the feeling that Grab is getting less reliable recently?
