Masterpieces by Vincent van Gogh now make a fashion statement following a collaboration between Royal Ivy Regatta and Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
The Dutch artist painted multiple versions of his iconic Sunflowers. The Royal Ivy Regatta X Van Gogh Museum collection presents Sunflowers through a shift dress, a long-sleeved shirt, a graphic Tee and accessories.
Van Gogh initially painted himself because he couldn’t afford a model. His self-portraits wearing a straw or a grey felt hat appear on menswear.
Landscape With Houses captures the picturesque countryside of France’s Auvers-sur-Oise. Thatched houses were drawn with wavy outlines while the light blue sky is in water colour. This painting has been reproduced as a print on a cropped bra top, tie waist shirt, cardigan and other women’s pieces as well as men’s knit Tee and Hawaiian shirt.
