Getting married here. A couple questions for those who have done the process recently. Much Appreciated.

Hey everyone, I’ll get straight to the facts. I was recently scammed by a phony visa agent unfortunately. My fault.

1. I have my affidavit from the American embassy saying I am single and free to marry. I also have a certified copy of my passport from the embassy.

2. I now need the affidavit translated and then certified by the Thai Ministry Of Foreign Affairs.

Questions:

Do I need the certified copy of my passport translated and certified by the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs also? I have a basic translated copy of my passport from when my son was born last month.

Does anyone have good recommendations for a translator that can complete the work in a couple days? Feel free to send their Line or form of contact and their location.

I am two hours from both Bangkok and Pattaya, in PrachinBuri, so I want to be organized and save myself unnecessary travel back and forth. I would rather go to Pattaya than Bangkok because driving is easier.

What’s the quickest way to begin the process of getting my Non-O visa to stay here after we are married and what are some requirements that are needed that you may not have expected?

Any helpful information you can think of is greatly appreciated. I thought it was all under control until this morning unfortunately.
