Get to know Twitter Spaces, Clubhouse’s new competitorThumbsup

It has been almost a month since Clubhouse has made a world of social phenomena. Facebook’s massive platform, Twitter, also announced the development of a clubhouse-like feature. Recently, Twitter has released Spaces to try out.

Twitter explains that Spaces is “a voice-over for your Twitter community,” in other words, like Clubhouse.

Spaces is a feature that allows users to create a real-time voice chat room. After the end of the chat room Content will not be saved on the platform. But the content will be kept in the database for a period of 30 days in case of any breach of the platform rules.

How to get started with Spaces?

Users can access Spaces on the Fleets tab (Story feature on Twitter) with the Spaces icon on the left to invite up to 10 speakers.

Inside chat room Users are divided into clubhouse-like hierarchies such as Speaker, People you follow, with the room builder able to freely modify the speaker-listeners.

The highlight is that Spaces are unlimited for the number of people in the room, which Clubhouse is currently limited to 8,000 people. Another advantage is that users can display emojis while talking and listening.
