German woman injured after falling at Koh Samui waterfall

Another German tourist has been injured in one of Thailand’s tropical paradises, this time on Koh Samui.

A German woman was injured after falling down at a Koh Samui waterfall. Rescuers and officers took over 20 minutes to walk on foot and reach the woman at Na Mueang 2 Waterfall on Wednesday.

The team found the woman, 38 year old Sina Dahmann, with an injured ankle. The woman, who was with her husband, told the rescuers that she slipped when stepping on a rock, and was unable to continue walking.

The rescuers provided Dahmann with first aid. They then carried Dahmann over the steep, rocky path on a stretcher before transporting her to the hospital.

The German couple expressed their gratitude for the quick response and help from officers and rescuers.
