Taylor Swift‘s The Eras Tour is all what anyone can talk about these days. From our Instagram Reels to the Surprise Songs Bingo and the release of Speak Now Taylor’s Version Today, Swift’s Tour of her entire discography has enchanted everyone across the world, including some prominent world leaders such as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
From Justin Trudeau to Thailand‘s Prime Ministerial Candidate Pita Limjaroenrat, everyone is asking Taylor Swift to add their countries to the Eras Tour. Swift recently added (and will hopefully keep adding) international dates to her tour and everyone wants a date!
Taking to Twitter, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau stated – “It’s me, hi. I know places in Canada would love to have you. So, don’t make it another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon.”

Pita Limjaroenrat, who is likely to become Thailand’s New Prime Minister, reached out and asked Taylor to add a show for Thailand.

Back in 2014, Swift had to cancel her sold-out show in Bangkok after a curfew was placed due to a military coup. However, with Thailand slowly working towards overthrowing the military regime, Pita reached out to Swift

“Hey Taylor! Big fan of yours. Btw, Thailand is back on track to be fully democratic after you had to cancel last time due to the coup. The Thai people have spoken via the election, and we all look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful nation of ours! Do come and I’ll be singing Lavender Haze with you!”

For the Southeast Asia region, The Eras Tour is scheduled to take place in Singapore. Moving to Latin America, Chilean President and all time Swiftie – Gabriel Boric – shared in June that he wrote to Swift to include Chile in the Latin American leg for her tour. At present, Swift is scheduled to play in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.

While announcing her international tour dates, Taylor Swift also announced dates for Melbourne and Sydney for February 2024. However, politicians and MP were not happy!

“I’m asking you; I’m begging you; I’m pleading with you, I’ll get down on my knees if I have to, please come to Queensland,” Member of Parliament and Former House Speaker Andrew Wallace told ABC Australia in an interview.

Member of Parliament Patrick Gorman, who represents Perth also shared they have checked the stadium available for shows in Perth. Meanwhile in India, the fans continue to keep their fingers crossed for a show!
