From beach waste to streetwear

The sight of litter during a beach walk inspired Wasted Collective to create the Earth Shoes 01 series, now available at Siwilai store on Central Embassy’s Level 5.

Reimagining wasted material resulted in the footwear comprising up to 90% recycled or forgotten industrial materials salvaged from mainstream factories.

Recycled mesh, plastic, polyurethane, wax cotton and vinyl are used to make the shoe parts. The “Wasted Foam” inners are made from sneaker rubber, which is ground and repurposed into the recycled inner soles via Rewalk mould technology.

In Sand White or Volcanic Black, Earth Shoes 01 functionally ensures stability and walking efficiency. The two colours recall the natural landscapes of Bali, where Wasted Collective organises beach clean-up walks to reconnect with nature.
