Before this incident, the tiger TWT128F was photographed on August 3, 2023 at 10:03 a.m. and on August 8, 2023 at 11:38 p.m. In addition, the aforementioned camera location had also previously photographed a tiger. Adult male, code HKT270M, 3 events, including 20 April 2023 at 6:04 p.m., 6 July 2023 at 3:00 a.m., and 13 June 2023 at 3:11 a.m.

This incident is the first time at Salakpra Wildlife Sanctuary that tiger cubs have been captured by automatic camera traps. and points out the potential of the area in terms of the abundance of prey animals and the conditions of forest areas that are conducive to the breeding of tigers.

In addition, from the installation of automatic camera traps by the survey team at more than 420 points in 7 protected areas of the southern forest group of the western forest. To survey the population of tigers and wild cats, including prey animals. It was also found that the tiger population in the survey area tends to increase. In particular, the tiger was first photographed in this area. This is the first successful step in efforts to promote this forest. This is another hope for restoring the tiger population in the future.
