Former Yarmouth artist Ann Clow donates work to community facilities

YARMOUTH, N.S. — Because of the impact that Yarmouth has had on herself and her family, former Yarmouth artist Ann Clow has donated a selection of her artwork to several locations in the area.

She says she’s especially pleased with how her elderly mother (Marie) blossomed when she moved to the Meadows nursing home.

“You can see how awesome my mom looks in pictures,” she says.

“It was a miracle. I was told when she entered the hospital she was going to probably pass away. Seeing my mom was the main reason to visit Yarmouth,” says Clow, who now lives in Montague, PEI.

In gratitude, Clow distributed paintings and art worth thousands of dollars, she says, to various facilities in Yarmouth.

“I wanted them to be enjoyed by people and not just stuck in storage,” she says.
