Former Miss Supranational Anntonia Porsild to join Miss Universe Thailand 2023

The 26-year-old beauty, born in India to a Thai mother and Danish father, was crowned Miss Supranational Thailand 2019 and went on to win the 11th Miss Supranational pageant in Katowice, Poland.

TPN Global, the organizers of the annual Miss Universe Thailand competition, has yet to reveal important details for the highly anticipated 2023 edition including the official names of aspirants.

Anntonia has yet to respond to a request for comment. There is no official announcement from her personally to confirm her participation but previously hinted at her big return with the sparkles emoji which in the pageantry world stands for Miss Universe.

If ever she makes it to the competition and eventually takes home the crown, she will be the first in Thailand to hold two major national beauty titles. On the other hand, she is not the first international titleholder from her country to go for another pageant system.

Earlier this month, former Miss Intercontinental winner Patraporn Wang (First Wang) was proclaimed Miss Supranational Thailand and will be heading to Poland for Miss Supranational 2023 this July.

This year’s Miss Universe Thailand is expected to be a tough battle between major frontrunners including returnee Praveenar Singh Thakral who on her third try may become the first married woman to represent Thailand at Miss Universe.
