At 10:51 AM, on February 21st, 2024, Samdech Hun Sen, the former Cambodia Prime Minister (1985–2023), arrived at “Chan Song La” Manor to greet Thaksin Shinawatra.
Thai national media reported that at 10:37 AM, Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Thaksin’s daughter, arrived at the manor as previously she publicly revealed that Samdech Hun Sen would unofficially pay a visit to Thaksin as an old friend after his release on parole from the Police General Hospital on February 18th.
The convoy consisted of four vehicles, Samdech Hun Sen was assumed to ride in a Mercedes Benz car. It was reported that Samdech Hun Sen would return to Cambodia on the same day at 2:00 PM after meeting with Thaksin.

As for Thaksin’s current health condition, Paetongtarn publicly revealed that Thaksin had a slight high blood pressure, and no need for immediate hospital treatment. His mental state was getting better after being in the hospital for quite a long time, said Paetongtarn.
However, there was no further report regarding the matter of discussion between Thaksin and Samdech Hun Sen, noted TPN.
