On November 20th, 2023, Dusit police officers received a shooting report on Ranong Soi 2, Dusit, Bangkok. There was one casualty reported as one of the students at Dusit Technical College.
According to the report from Dusit police officers, initially, the victim and his unidentified friend rode a motorcycle to the incident scene to pick up another friend. However, a group of unidentified people with two motorcycles reportedly stopped and shot at them with an improvised firearm, a pen gun, before fleeing.

The police officers and rescue teams rushed to the incident scene and gathered evidence including the pen gun.
Initially, the friends of the victim were interrogated for the true cause of the incident at the Dusit police station. The police officers pledged to further investigate the case to make the alleged shooters accountable for their crimes.
The name of the victim was also withheld as of press time as Dusit police had further investigations to conduct and cautioned that releasing more information at this time could possibly jeopardize their investigation.
