Extremely hot weather warning in Pattaya and Bangkok ahead of Songkran

Temperatures are soaring towards April, the Songkran water splashing month, with lows ranging from 26-28 degrees Celsius and highs reaching 33-38 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning as hot weather grips various parts of Thailand. Residents in the northern and central regions (including Bangkok and Pattaya areas) are urged to stay vigilant as some areas experience scorching temperatures. In particular, there are concerns about the potential dangers posed by thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the southern region is also expected to see some unsettled weather, with partial thunderstorms forecasted in certain areas.
