Going to buy a used motorbike off facebook in BKK. I was wondering if I still need the “Certificate of residence” to take to DOT (along with transfer doc and green book) since I have a Thai DL. I would like to avoid going back to embassy to do the notary deal again if possible. The other option is to just put the new bike in Thai GF name instead of mine (not worried about her running off with the bike).
