Entering with Visa Exemption

So as a US citizen I will be able to go 30 days on visa exemption, then extend a further 30 days, then I will have to:

A. Purchase 5 year thai elite visa. (Roughly 26k USD)

B. Purchase 1 year education visa for some type of school. (although this can permanently disqualify you from Thai Elite)

C. Travel surrounding countries before coming back to Thailand for an additional 30 or 60 days.
(Can only do this once after intial entry per year before risk of denial at immigration if you seem to be abusing the exemption)

D. Find someone to marry and stay on annual marriage visa.

Am I missing anything?
