El Nino weather phenomenon likely to impact Thai stocks and agriculture, experts warn

BANGKOK, June 12 (The Nation Thailand/ANN): The probability of the El Niño weather phenomenon occurring in the second half of this year and continuing into early 2024 will have a major impact on agriculture

El Niño drought-related effects likely to have the biggest effects on the sugarcane-growing region of Asia, resulting in decreased sugar production, according to Bualuang Securities.
