One Championship recently announced its upcoming flyweight Muay Thai world grand prix.
The tournament, set to begin on May 20, will pit eight of the world’s best flyweight strikers against each other in a battle for the grand prix’s coveted silver belt.
One chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong took to social media at the weekend to share the news and express his excitement over the groundbreaking tournament.
“On May 20, One will kick off its first-ever world grand prix championship in Muay Thai with the greatest eight-man global tournament ever assembled in the history of the sport,” he wrote.
