Chloe Dygert is world champion again after a long injury lay off
GLASGOW – Three years after a horror crash almost ended her career, Chloe Dygert of the United States won the women’s time trial at the cycling world championships on Thursday.
Dygert was world champion in 2019 but a frightening accident at the 2020 worlds in Italy, where she careered over a roadside barrier, led to several bouts of surgery on her leg.
