A domestic dispute escalated into violence in Pattaya on January 8th, 2024, leaving a Thai man with a stab wound to the back.
The Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Unit received a report of the incident at 9:16 PM at a rental house near the entrance of Soi Khao Makok, Nongprue sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province.
The rescuers promptly arrived at the scene to find 32-year-old Mr. Damrong Dokpikul had sustained a deep stab wound to the back. The rescue team administered first aid before urgently transferring him to a local hospital.
According to Mr. Dokpikul’s unidentified mother, her son arrived at the house seeking help, claiming he had been stabbed by his girlfriend. He told her that a heated argument broke out with his intoxicated girlfriend after they both consumed alcohol. The argument turned physical, resulting in the woman reportedly using a knife to stab him in the back. Pattaya police are searching for the suspect, who hasn’t been identified to the press, as of the most recent update.
