‘Do not insult the king’: Disturbed ultraroyalist assaults elderly activist

A violence-prone ultraroyalist who has attacked people in public without consequence assaulted a 68-year-old woman yesterday on a downtown skywalk. 

Kaneshpitsanuthep “K 100 million” Chakkraphopmahadecha on Tuesday evening was in the custody of the Pathum Wan Police after he assaulted Worawan Sae-ung, aka “Auntie Pao,” who is a familiar face at anti-government protests. 

A recording of the assault appears to show Kaneshpitsanuthep approach Worawan and tell her “Do not insult the king.” He then strikes the elderly woman, who falls onto the ground. She was injured on the left side of her face.
